We were in #8. We wanted to open the back window overnight but couldn’t get the storm window open. We didn’t realize the remote was for air conditioning. There were dead bugs and cobwebs behind the front curtain. The far bed was comfortable. The+ Moremini fridge/freezer worked great. For a renovated room, it was showing a lot of wear…dirty white surfaces in the bathroom, for example.

Listing this location as a cottage was very deceiving. Unit details as having a kitchen not exactly true. Was expecting a kitchen in a cottage, not a renovated motel room with a bar and stools. Having the motel room decorated with all the fishing+ Moregear, etc. led us to believe it would be near a fishing area and would be a "cottage", a single standalone dwelling. Could have been cleaner -- dead bugs and spider webs in corners and windowsills. Having the large trash can outside our door wasn't the most appealing detail either. Will not book again nor recommend to others.

The room was exactly as described and it worked well for our needs. The guest guide had everything we needed and the restaurants nearby were good. The only feedback that I would give that could be improved upon is perhaps providing disposable+ Moresilverware and or plates in the microwave area - Since food delivery doesn't always remember the plastic utensils, we had to make a separate trip to obtain them. The snacks and water were nice, but even a small selection of plasticware and paper plates in the cabinet would be a nice touch in the future. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay here! Location was great, it was very tidy and clean and simple! The only thing I would add is a coffee maker! It did say there was not one so I did know going in to it! I brought my own Keurig! Beds were comfy, there is tons to+ Moredo out there, and plenty of places to eat and snack!

Really the only suggestions would be to change the threshold of the entrance to eliminate the gap under the door and maybe provide a note somewhere telling the guests to turn the shower nozzle toward the wall before turning on the water. That might+ Moredecrease the amount of water that gets on the floor in the normal shower head position. Other than that the room is very comfortable and perfect to meet the basic needs of a place to sleep and shower.

Hey Team, as far as motels go, this is an ok spot. A few key opportunities are cleanliness, bugs, curbside appeal. Cleanliness - the beds were made and clean, but the bathroom door is filthy. Take a magic mr. Clean eraser to that thing and it’ll+ Morelook brand new. There werent chunks of dirt, but the walls, doors, light switches, all need a wipe down and repainted. Bugs - the front door doesn’t seal shut which allows many spiders full reign. The shower had a massive spider in it, and when you looked closely you could see them in many spots. The mosquitos also made their way in. Harder to control, but a sealing front door could hell. Curbside - there was no signage that was obvious we were there! It was just a parking lot with one other car. Low hanging fruit would be to add cheap mums by all the doors or a decal that shows the name of the place! Also, the garbage is right under #8’s window. No one wants to know there’s a bin next to their room. Again, it’s a motel, but some of this stuff is easy to fix and will make your customers more comfortable.

The only issues were the 8 button on the keypad is defective so try to avoid codes that include an 8. Overflowing garbage can right next to our door. Disgusting! The parking lot was roped off and we had to park on the street. The pictures on the internet were deceptive, the room is much smaller than it looked. No bathtub. None of my messages were+ Morereplied to, three messages were ignored. On a brighter note, the housekeeper who came around was very pleasant and agreeable and took care of our needs. However I would not book this property again. Disappointing

Although the motel was clean and quiet our room was freezing when we arrived and there was no thermostat in the room. It felt like the heat was not on at all (mid-October). We tried contacting the company but no one was available to help us. When we+ Moreturned on the bathroom light in the middle of the night there was a loud crackling and popping, which we could also hear that our next door neighbor was having the same issue. We found out in the morning that throughout the night the hotel lost power, which is why there was no heat? We got in contact the next day and the manager said that he would send maintenance. I never heard if there was any resolution. The self checkin process was great, but an emergency number is definitely needed. We know that things happen and power outages are out of ones control, but we had lights and no heat, and for an evening in Michigan in the middle of October, it was miserably cold.

Problems: screen door on our unit had no screen or glass - essentially was just a useless frame that was annoyingly in the way; floor had enough sand on it to be noticeable when barefoot; was enough sand in bed to be noticeable; I am unsure if the+ Morecode we were given to unlock the door was a truly unique code for just our visit - I.e. I am uncertain how secure the room was from previous visitors that may have been given the same code. Good things: ability to get into unit without "checking in" was convenient; new furnishings; free water/snacks

Quiet, clean and comfortable. The outside of the motel could use a little TLC but they say not to judge a book by its cover. The inside of our room was updated and clean. My band mates and I needed a room for one night and it was perfect. The+ Morebathroom was a good size and we enjoyed the complementary WiFi and Netflix. My only suggestion would be to have a window unit a/c installed, but I would definitely return.
